وعد الدكتور يوسف بطرس غالي وزير المالية بايجاد حل شامل لموظفي الضرائب العقارية المعتصمين أمام مجلس الوزراء منذ6 أيام, مشيرا إلي أن مرتبات هؤلاء الموظفين ضعيفة وفي حاجة إلي تعديلات.
وقال الوزير إن القانون الجديد للضرائب العقارية يراعي البعد الاجتماعي والاقتصادي والانساني للممولين وتعظيم موارد الدولة عند تحديد سعر الضريبة مع ترشيد الاعفاءات. وأشار الوزير إلي أن القانون يدعم مبدأ المساواة الذي كفله القانون والدستور ويحقق العدالة الضريبية, جاء ذلك في اجتماع لجنة الشئون المالية والاقتصادية بمجلس الشوري برئاسة الدكتور خلاف عبدالجابر, والذي وافقت فيه اللجنة علي مشروع قانون الضرائب العقارية من حيث المبدأ.
